Setting aside the nonsense about carbon trading and so on (later in the video), you're not the only one to benefit from bus lanes Richie;

I thought travelling in a 3.2 auto MV6 was expensive until I got a bus 5 miles into town (only do it when I'm planning on drinking heavily). ;)

I like the comment early in the video about one of the benefits being reduced traffic.... er of course it is, thats why the traffic is still nose-to-tail! And that's with thousands of people on the buses that would otherwise have driven!

I wish I had the option, its a mile to the nearest bus route,
and the last time I wanted one, it never came.

I used 2 bus lanes yesterday, 1 new one for straight ahead at some traffic lights, the other to save about 1/2 a mile.

EVERYONE uses them

Kevin

My closest bus stop is 2 or 3 stops from the local town centre - about a mile & a half away - No 1 daughter tells me it's £2 As you say, it's cheaper to drive 20-ish to the gallon car than go by bus.

I love bus lanes, because even in the time that you can use them, there's never anyone in them except me ;D
I think that most drivers don't understand the times ::)
