I've used Movavi Video Converter to convert my files. The software also covers audio files conversion and it does have the option to convert to/from flac to mp3. The package as a whole is very good particularly for video as it allows you to edit, join and carry out all manner of other tweeking options. There are a couple of legal downloadable sites where you could get a full rather than partial file conversion but most sites (like Movavi) will only give you a taster sample. Obviously they would rather you pay for the privalege of using their software.
