The legality of the service in question could not be confirmed was the reason I believe.

Best link to the site providing the info, rather than picking out specific bits, which may or may not be valid individdually.

There are plenty of online apps that give you geographical number.  Rerouting through somebody else's PABX, permission or not, may be contravening the Telecommunications Act.
