Massive explosion

I was sat having my brew and toast this morning, next thing the house shook and there was a massive boom noise so I legged it upstairs to make sure the wife was OK then went outside around the back of the house to see if the chimney was still there. Couldn't see anything around the back so went around the front to find half the street out on the pavement about 10 minutes later loads of police/fire sirens so don't know whats gone on. It sounded underground to me but it was close where ever it was :(

Mmmmmm sounds like gas??? reminds me of the Dudley earthquake in 2002.

There are massive underground gas storage tanks about 2 miles from here and I thought it was either them or an old salt mine collapsing but the sirens sound very close
