Yeah it's nice there but depends where you go as it can be quiet but I would google the place and have a good look to see what you think :y

Nice place - north part of island most people speak english, south part german spoken mostly.  Worth hiring wheels and driving up into the hills (side of volcano?) some really good restaurants up there.

Been there a few years ago.  Name means "strong winds" and for good reason. ;)

Very variable landscape: middle bit volcanic moonscape, north sandy (some bought-in on trucks) south much greener but most road signs there in German 'cos they were all but given it after the war.

Water sports quite good incl. para-surfing around Corralejo.  Nice few eateries but many doff the cap to US or other food-types.

Our visit was marred by a fiesta that the tour guides kept quiet about where a whole weekend was blaring music through the night.

Not sure what Feb will be like and certainly can't vouch for the centre of the island - we drove straight past it!

Love the place, I have a house out there.

Particularly windy in the North ( which is the brit side) The south is not so windy but dominated by the Germans)

Its warm all year round and TBH if it wasnt for the breeze it would be too hot.

Be careful on flag beach - walk to far and - if your wearing trunks you will be over dressed.

Corralejo is no where near as quiet as it once was and it a thriving place ( very North)

Day trips to Lanzarote also possible and you can go round the whole island in a day.

Need any particular info just ask - I know the place pretty well now  :y

Been to Corralejo a couple of times, but must be 25yrs ago.  My mum went there a couple of years back and said that area was now over commercialised (her words were ruinned).

I was in Ibiza about 6 years ago and it was great.  Multi-generations of families sitting outside cafes eating and laughing.  Only one part of San Antonio was super-club-fest and the rest was a charming island for "normal"(?) people.

Missus & I have just got back from Kos.  Also a lovely place with no sign of rowdy clubbers (did give Kardemena a miss actually).  7 days was plenty though.

As others have said it is very windy - they were holding the world windsurfing championships there when we went a few years ago. Also be aware of the nude bathing beaches if you are accompanied by your 14 year old. My two girls who were 13 and 15 at the time dissolved into giggling heaps at some sights. The drive from the airport looks like you are driving through a bomb site, unless this has changed (its about 20 years since we were there) A trip over to Lanzagrotty would be interesting especially to where they made 10000 years BC and tested the Apollo moon rovers.

my boywants to go here or turkey but the golf breaks are a bit more expensive in turkey.  i am not fussed myself as long as i'm away from screaming teenagers getting pi$$ed up and running amok which wont happen in a golf hotel  ;)
