this weeks plans down the drain

was gonna take my gearbox off today and tomorrow but due to rain cant get in my mates garage to use his pit. too much stuff to put outside.




nearly 5ft deep with a ladder to get out as well  :y

i sneaked in there a few weeks ago and waited for 10 mins then jumped out on him. never seen someone go white so quick  ;D ;D

That looks like my mates garage (although his pit has a nice f/glass liner ;D ) - last time I reversed over his pit I had to climb out of the passenger side of the car! ;D

there are a few garages in that rd with pits, nobody seems to know why the houses were built with them in, possible for the airport workers,but mates dad who died last year worked with my dad at hoovers in the 50s before my dad became an artic driver.

I heard about a few that were built in Staines like that, too, up at the airport end..

I couldn't even find a place with a double garage when I was looking to buy, though, let alone with a pit :( although when I look now of course there are two absolutely beautiful houses in Bracknell that are perfect (unlike mine, which needed gutting) and have double garages.

D'oh!

a mile away from heathrow, sipson village and i'm about 2 miles from there
