one of the greatest films ever made!!!

you know the cityscape with the plumes of fire was based on the refinery at Grangemouth fact fans  :y

i think Ridley Scott used to go past this at night coming from Edinburgh and the image stuck  :o

Never watched it, but then I have probably watched no more than half a dozen films in the last 25 years. They go on far too long for my attention span. Lifes too short to waste 2 hours watching grown adults playing make believe. :D ::) :)

If anyone has ever had the pleasure of driving thru grangemouth at night the refinery is pure awesome to look at, thru the day its just a dirty industrial site, beit massive.

One of my old favourites (and I remember it from first time around! ::)). Looking a bit dated now with scenes featuring old CRT monitors but still enjoyable.

Watched it a couple of days ago by coincidence, love it, but had forgotten how poor the sound track is, Vangelis? Yuk.
