Flat out you should be able to see the naughty side of 150MPH.

On a run @ 60MPH, 34-37 MPG is attainable.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a huge difference in manufacturer spec figures between the 2.5 and the 3.0.  I've not taken a 2.5 to it's limit, so cant say for sure.... I happen to know (I heard from a friend) that the 3.0 will top 160MPH (Sat-Nav confirmed).

Due to the (unbelievably)  low drag coefficient of the Omega, it can really motor at top end.  :y

The top speed of a 2.6 manual saloon is 142mph. So you would expect the 2.5 to be ever so slightly slower, and if it's an auto...that will again make it a bit slower.

I believe, but could be wrong that the 2.6 and 3.2 have slightly (as much as makes no difference) lower top speeds to the 2.5 and 3.0.

Must be something to do with emission controls or something of that nature.

2.5 top speed is around 135mph. Never going to set the world record in 0-60, too heavy for that.
MPG depends very much on driving style and the amount of miles you spend on motorway type roads. Could average anything between low 20,s to mid 30,s.

The Trip COmputer isn't far out.

The Range will increase and decrease.  It cant predict how you are going to drive over the next 100 miles.  It will give a figure based on your last few miles.

Obviously cruising at a constant 56MPH is far more economical than sitting in traffic, or hoofing it at 150MPH.  :y
