i've never met anyone who eats marrow  :y

of course i did work with a girl who couldnt stand fish - the taste, smell, feel of it....yet nearly every day she had a tuna salad for lunch  :o

she actually took it back once because it "tastes fishy"  ::)

genius she was.

I am still in the office sorting things for trip next week - so Indian restaurant tonight about 8pm - my wife is very predicatable so she will order chicken shaslik - I will order anything that is unlikely to give me a sore bum

There you go.. I've corrected that little typo for you. ;)

Kevin

Woke up with a slightly sore bum - I can only hope it was something I ate!!

Tonight at Deb`s Towers: Veggie-curry (made using Zucchini, Aubergine, Red-Onion & Bell-Pepper) served with basmati rice.

....so, what`s for tonight`s suppers; out there in OOF land?  ;)

I don't like zucchini, I prefer courgette.

 :P .....not baby-marrows? ::)

I have an adult marrow, thank you. :-*

I've not tried any OXO cubes in my dinners yet, I keep meaning to make some slow cooker meals. Mother T bought me one of those slow cookers, been told they are super easy just got to get myself together and make something!

I bought one of those a while back - haven't actually used it yet, though (although I did at least unpack it).. Sadly I think it may end up like the steamer (in a cupboard!) :(

Theoretically easy .. but who gets up early enough to get it all ready in the morning?

Then again, on the basis that I never have anything in the house that's edible beside frozen food and cereal (not milk, you notice, because that goes off..) ..  :-X

I used to .. my parents were big growers of vegetables at one point or another in their lives, and they'd grow these enormous tasteless watery monstrosities..

I have to say, though, that once you scoop out most of the insides and fill it with flavoured stuff like mince with vegetables & curry powder.. it wasn't bad at all.
