anti-matter stored in magnetic field
« on: 18 November 2010, 09:19:51 »

this is a huge leap - at last scientists can examine anti-matter hydrogen atoms (the simplest) as they've managed to hold 30 or so in a magnetic field for a few milliseconds  :y

amazing  :)

It certainly is BJ - opening the door to an area of research that may hold great benefit for us all.

So anti-matter has "lived" within our environment without anything untowards happening so far! :D :D :D :D :D :D

There was a big fear once that introducing anti-matter could produce all kinds of nasty things. ::) ::) ::) ::)  Once again it seems that science has proved we do not need to fear the unknown ;) ;)
