Middle Lane
« on: 21 November 2010, 19:28:04 »

Drove up to my mothers & back today (M1, M62 M606 etc).
I've noticed alot more drivers that sit in the middle lane & don't overtake anything >:(
There seems to be many more than there used to be :(
Has anyone else got any thoughts on this?

If you read this & sit in the middle lane, have some consideration for other road users, i know you don't have much between your ears except space ;D
In the mean time "Go away & die" :y :y

I must say it has bugged me for many a year and was certainly bad then.  For me it just seems as bad today as it was in the past ;) ;)

 ;D ;D ;D

I find that alot of people sit around 70 in the middle lane, forcing overtakers to break the speed limit. there is no sense in the lane usage anymore

I was ranting about this at work one day and one fella said "I always sit in the middle lane. I don't feel safe in the inside with all the trucks"

'course if he went a bit faster, he wouldn't be getting overtaken (or undertaken!) by them.

As far as I'm concerned, missiles should be legal - you sit in the middle lane being an ass, I blow you up. Simples.

While I'm the first to moan about middle lane nodders, when I'm in lane 1 myself The tram lines piss me off. So maybe that's an excuse, but in reality it's just shite driving, oblivious mostly and usually with fog light on.

Just another manifestation of infantile people from the "me first" school of life.  Just like the thingys who don't bother indicating at roundabouts and junctions. Why would they bother? It's not them waiting to pull onto the roundabout. >:(

My opinion may have something to do with the fact that I'm presently watching Stallone & crew blow stuff up in The Expendables..  ;D and I'm having a generally people (ok, my ex) hating weekend ;D

But still.. missiles! Like Bond..

I'm with you on the that one Kevin, there's a roundabout just up the road from me & i would say that 50% of drivers that turn left don't indicate >:(

I more than agree with that.

the "me first" school of life

Sadly that attitude now extends far beyond the realm of motoring [smiley=thumbdown.gif].

Really annoying when towing.

I even passed one up the inside near a Police Car, they were holding up the MWAY
