Vulcan XH558 Gifts
« on: 27 November 2010, 17:47:10 »

Today I received a letter from Vulcan To The Sky to let me know following my donation they raised £415,000 by the end of October to keep XH558 flying :y :y :y :y

This is great news so, for now, it looks as though this beautiful old girl is safe to fly for at least another year! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

There was also the usual request for a permanent DD to donate on a regular basis which I am considering.  Coupled with it there was a brouchure of all kinds of gifts you can buy to help the Vulcan:

May buy a gift or two! :D :D :D :D ;)

Yes, super news Lizzie.
My son and I have both made a donation previously, and have both now set up DD for them.
Son had already made a list off of their website of pressies for Xmas.
He brought the Haynes manual earlier this year, at the Bournemouth Air Show, when 'Vulkie' was here. Watched her take off from Hurn. Really some sight..

Long may she live on  :y :y
