outside lights on houses
« on: 29 November 2010, 21:05:16 »

howdy folks

at the end of last week our neighbour over the back has fitted not 1 , not 2 but 3!!! outside lights, with bright energy saving bulbs under the guttering.

This illuminates the rear of my house like these lights you see floodlighting castles etc.

now the 3 lights I could live with if used for short periods, but he leaves them on from when he comes home from work (5pm) til after 10pm when he goes to bed, every night. the only goood thins is its saving us some electric in the kitchen as we dont need to use the lights anymore.

anyone any suggestions how i go about complaining about this?

we have been neighbours for 26years so dont want to start a feud.

cheers o wise ones  :y

He probably doesn't realise its causing you a nuisance.  Just a friendly chat should sort the problem.

If not, a rifle will.  ;D
