Believe it or not though I have just seen a full sized gritter lorry of the type you see on main roads actually gritting the very local roads around our houses, even coming into the the communal road for our blocks of flats!!

Believe it or not though I have just seen a full sized gritter lorry of the type you see on main roads actually gritting the very local roads around our houses, even coming into the the communal road for our blocks of flats!!

Bloody hell we are lucky to get the main roads gritted here in Bracknell let alone the side roads that have bus routes on

I had fun today..

Last night when it was pitch black, I had tyre blow out a few hundred yards from home.  And with no where to pull over due to the thick snow and it being so dark, I decided to nurse the car home.  Left it till today to change the wheel in the snow:

Crikey that's an impressive blowout! The tyre looks more like a pretzel than a tyre..

Long time since I've seen a car tyre that bad!

I would check your other tyres as well, because there appears to be a hole well up on the blown tyre's wall which seems like a weakness deciding to go   What was the quality level of this tyre? :-/
