Best laid plans
« on: 02 December 2010, 22:25:36 »

After spending most of yesterday making the car as "winter ready" as it can be making sure i have rocksalt, cardboard, shovel, screenwash, warm clothes (sleeping bag on long term loan from a mate in the forces) and 200 fags>

I thought im ready for the next couple of months, got up this morning took Mrs to work 20 mile round trip parked up outside local buttie shop put key in to position two so could listen to radio, ate the buttie and read paper turned key nothing but a loud clicking >:(  >:(

RAC were out in 25mins jump started asked me if i wanted to buy a new battery (i declined) then went to my mates garage and bought a new 70ah GM battery for 40 notes :y

He checked the old one and it was OK until under full load so please guys make sure your battery is tip top in these conditions as said best laid plans and all that :-[ :-[
