i love football i played semi pro  and to be honest i would love it if we hosted the cup but it would probably end up being flawed like 2012   i cant believe so many on here dont like footie    :(

As with all forms of sport, it's a personal choice wether you love a particular sport or loathe it. I must admit that I'm a footie fan but I understand people having no interest in it. Now golf, snooker, darts, rugby and cricket I find as interesting as watching paint dry. ::)

dont want it here,its not about football anymore. all the govt are interested in is the revenue. too many come over here and dont go home so will cost us more in the end.

Love my football but couldnt give a two hoots if we staged it or not. As we know the England side will continue to show no pride in the shirt  so whats the point in watching em.

Plus after last nights trouble has been shown around the world it will be the final nail in the coffin for us to stage it

It was already such a done deal - big bags of used notes - that Putin couldnt even be arsed to turn up. ;) ::) ;D
Still.Im glad it isnt coming here, the over the top coverage would have been unbearable. :)

It's bad enough we're hosting the Olympics.. Russia is welcome to the World Pup ;)

I can probably book enough holiday to escape the Olympics and inevitable gridlock, but I could never book enough to escape the World Cup.. ;D
