swmbo why will they not listen? Not a Joke

Miss Vamps is still off school, I am having a couple of days off. swmbo has been off as her school was closed but was to be open today.....OK So last night I suggested that she took my car as her car is snowed in and the plough has been past a few times, car not moved since Tuesday. She drives a 98 2.0L auto estate.  "I am not driving your car, it is too light and twitchy" "I will dig mine out in the morning"  We did have  some moments in mine last week on black Ice, 3 bags of sand in the boot had worked wonders.

Quarter past 7 this morning I can her her start her car up clean it off and get in it, could almost smell the burning rubber.... ::) ::)  Anyway after a while she decided that she was going nowhere and started di - icing my car, as I suggested :D :D :D
At about 8 o clock she is standing in the bedroom complaining that she could not get the handbrake off so I had to get up and sort this for her............ lost my nice long lie in bed that I had been planning...... :'( :'( :'(

Because Mike she expected you to fully de-ice and dig out her car, making it all lovely and warm, for her to get in and drive away! :D :D :D

You should have been up at 0400 if necessary to make that possible you lazy man! ::) ::) ::)

Master Vamps is going to do that at the weekend, problem is where to put the snow.... ::)

So then Lizzie why did she not say that then...... ::) ::) ::)  am I supposed to be able to read her mind......... it's a bit like, me saying on a Saturday, where are we going?   "I don't know" OK lets go to Tesco she will then huff and say "only to Tesco!" with a couple of tut's somewhere in there.... ::) ::) ::)

Because Mike she expected you to know that without her actually saying, as by now you should know her well enough, and she was testing you! :D :D ;)

It is reverse logic which us females are good at!! ::) ::) ;) ;)

ahhh yes, I think I might know the answer to this one vamps... It because swmbo is always RIGHT  ;D You must remember this vamps!!!  It must be true because my swmbo has been telling me this for over 17 years! and of course she's always right  ;) :D ;D

See the problem is this... ever since the feminist movement in the 1960's a gradual change has taken place in the female psyche to a point where if you,,, 'tarzan' tell 'jane' that you are right & she is wrong there is an immediate subconscious response mechanism that kicks in and causes swmbo to think 'oh I see, you think you're right just because your'e the man huh!... we'll see about that' So you're fighting a losing battle from square one. Well of course gender is totally irrelevant because we can't all be right all of the time, hence sometimes you will be right (swmbo won't like this  >:() & sometimes swmbo will be right (she will like this   :))  To demonstrate this point is simple... have you ever heard a man saying 'I can do this as well as any woman can!' or 'I know as much about this as any woman!'... probably not  ;) I believe we are completely equal in every way (not physical strength, because that would go against everything we know about anatomy & physiology) but women need to REALLY believe it too!!! then there won't be all this post feminist baggage  :y

When someone absolutely knows they are equal they don't feel any need whatsoever to prove it  ;)

I'm sure some lady OOF'ers will disagree with me because after all, I am a man and therefore probably a sexist or a bigot  :-/

This would be a great shame, when in fact I love women & on the whole have a far greater respect for women than most men!

I like that, but if I get the sack on Monday I will be having a word. My boss is a woman, swmbo is a woman and Miss Vamps is growing up fast, I don't stand a chance at home or at work...just shoot me now..... ::) ::) ::)

vamps I have swmbo, miss valve, mother in law, two sisters, six nieces & my K9 is a girl too! so it might have to be 'guns at dawn' for both of us  ::) ;) :D ;D

ah yes didn't include my wonderful mother either but that'll be a subconscious oversight on my part because she is pre-war generation and knows that any problems & her boy's will sort it  :y
