Surely this is where technology should kick in.

If the info were in as part of the bar code scan, then anyone that has bought this product and paid by card or used a points system could easy be made aware of it.

There wouldn't be enough barcodes to track individual items, and upgrading all the barcode readers to do beyond the simplistic EAN13 would be like the IPV4 to IPV6 upgrade ::)

Stella makes your armpit sweat smell real bad, more than usual. Dpnt do bottled beers anymore.

occasional Guinness or Caffreys, but mostly Koppaberg, Magners or Bulmers cider in all thier varieties.
