I thought I would ask here first before hitting the yellow pages

Does anyone know of someone that I could use to either tow or put a car on a trailer? I have gone and got another MR2 as a track car (but the engine has blown). I'll need to get it from Leicester (outskirts) to Chelmsford and then at a later date from Chelmsford to Norwich.

I do feel a bit cheeky but I thought I would ask

if you get some prices you might be in for a surprise as this will not be cheap as its approx 350 miles round trip so its going to be about 70 pounds in fuel alone plus its going to be a all day job so as most places charge a min.of £1 a mile you looking at 350 pounds min.

I seem to remember someone who was/still is a member here, buying a slightly stuffed Omega, getting it a few miles down the road then calling the rescue services and asking to be relayed back home cause the engine had broken.
