Scary thing is, I've actually seen this kind of thing stuck on cars for real in pictures, or exhaust exits that look like they could shoot a canon ball out of, especially 1.4 Corsa's and alike.  And the owners really are convinced they look good  :-?.

Correct 

In the MM film they used a Genuine Ford Falcon 'GT', though for the Replica's people just use a bog standard Falcon, as a Genuine GT cost a fair bit of money these days.

This would be a good car to role up to the lights when some young kiddie is in their bodykitted boxhatch reving the car's Ohh so small 1400 4Cyl.
Then just as the blower is in line with their window, you 'show em the blower man' !!!!!

that reminds me, anyone ever see that documentary with Eric Bana about him and his Falcon? "something and the beast?" i remember wanting to see it, but it never got a big release.....apparently hes had the car for decades. ploughed a fortune into it (before he got famous and could afford it) the doc tells the tale of him getting it ready to race in the big Oz rally thing, wrecking the car and rebuilding it
