Never again. Ever.
« on: 11 December 2010, 13:12:42 »

Had one of those realy shitty days at work yesterday, including some arguments, mostly based around the fact that my interpretation of "open, honest 2 way dialgogue" differed from senior management's interpretation of the same policy. It was one of those days, the more it went on, the more down your feel. We all have those days sometimes, fortunately, very rarely.

So I decided to treat myself to a little wander around the town last night, as Mrs TheBoy is away selling pins all weekend.  This involved a quiet drink with one of my mates, and a 'spot of tiffin' afterwards (Tiffins is our local curry house).

Trouble is, when you've had a bad day, the ale seems to evaporate from the glass quickly, and need constant refilling.

This morning is not a pretty morning.  I have only just managed to calm it all down with a grease infusion of saussages, bacon,eg....  ....nope, can't deal with the thought of it.

So, I think thats it. I'm too old. No more beer for me again. I'm never drinking again *

* Except tonight - Local ABS crimbo meal.  And of course next week, a couple of crimbo events to attend.  Then, of course, there is crimbo itself, followed by the new year celebrations.

Me too. My answer is too never have a sesh. I go to a pub which requires me to drive there and back, so I have 2 pints of shandy per night. ;)

i say it everytime i wake feeling rough from the beer, an hr later i'm ready for the next session.
except today, been to padington, regents street oxford street piccadilly circus, carnaby street and notting hill. had to endure svere bouts of palpitations, ignorant shoppers and a big mac to calm me down, had enough so we came home and my feet are throbbin  :(

The diagnosis TB is that you drink Stella
If you were to drink real ale then the next morning you would wake bright-eyed, Bushy-tailed & leap from bed feeling on top of the world, ready to face anything or anybody (with a smile)!
