Bin men
« on: 16 December 2010, 12:36:09 »

I have just seen it all now.... ;D
Today is our recycle day...plastic and paper (seperate boxes) ;)
How they do it here, is one man each side of the street pulls two wheelie bins and puts our boxes of plastic and paper into respective bin. When full, they attach wheelie bins to lorry for emptying :y
Now my neighbour has put a large cardboard box out beside her bin. Along comes lorry and parks outside neighbours. Along then comes bin man, puts contents of neighbours paper box into wheelie bin. He then starts attacking large cardboard box.  ;D
Meanwhile, man on other side of the street has attached his wheelies to the lorry and emptied it and is off up the street. ;)
Our man is still fighting the cardboard box and trying to get it in his wheelie bin. ;D
Seeing the other man up the street, the lorry driver now opens window and shouts out..'What the f****** **** are you doing.'
'I can't get this box in' says bin man.
Lorry driver jumps out of cab and says 'You f****** stupid f****** ****'.....grabs the box and chucks it straight in the lorry.
The lady opposite who is very religous, said to me..'Did you hear that, I am going in to phone the Council' ;D ;D ;D

I hope we have a Council Tax rise this year so they can employ more like him....I love a good laugh ;D ;D ;D ;D

Its not just that fella...on Tuesday I had a chap deliver some budgie cage fronts. He hands me his clipboard and says...'Sign here'  ;)
I said...'It says no signature required', and the panel was greyed out
'Oh' he says...'I don't know what that means' :o :o :o :o
So to keep the peace I just put a straiht line  with a bit of a wiggle in it.
Bearing in mind, I live at number eight, he then says 'This is number eight isn't it'?...Where is number nine'?

So I point to the house almost opposite, which has a white wall and a LARGE number nine on it.
'That one there' I said. After studying it for a minute he says....
'What...the one with the light on' ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Give me strength  :o :o :o
How I ever got my cage fronts I'll never know. ;D ;D ;D
