Bedford CA.
« on: 18 December 2010, 23:22:04 »

I had a late (G reg) one of these in light blue when i was 18. Bought it with a mate as a non runner for £30. Tinkered about, got it running & trundled around all over the place in it. I'm sure it was a 1600?.
Sliding doors, 3 speed column change, lovely old bus. :y

Lets face it Guy, in those days none of the Ambulances were very fast, I used to have a 1972 'J' series Bedford Ambulance, 3.0L straight 6 and about 50 mph flat out, cracking truck though..... :y
