jesus Ian , the last scene in particular was sickening. I know you could argue that in other countries they dont see cats and dogs as pets like we do but just as we might view sheep or cattle for slaughter but the sheer brutality and torture these people show towards thse animals is beyond words. Those images wont go away now. Mans sheer ability for evil is sometimes astoundingly sickening. A friend recently returned from, amongst other places, Cambodia. He loved the place, the people, the countryside etc. I asked him about the killing fields and he said he had seen some of it where there were still people who recall pol pots troops throwing babies up in the air in front of their mothers and shooting them as you would do clay-pigeon shooting or else nail the babies to trees in front of them and cut them up. Even today the cripples from the land mines abound and human bones litter certain areas. Such atrocities should never be forgotten-and this youtube clip should similarly be acted upon.

OMG the poor little dog. cant stand animal cruelty in any form, ive seen some horrific things when i used to be involved with Dobermann rescue. i found a kitten once at the top of my street, wasnt moving and it was soaked to the skin, phoned round all the rescue centres, most where full but helpful. RSPCA where useless and very rude. Ended up i drove 30 miles to the CPL and found that this poor little kitten had been thrown from a car. it had to be put to sleep. i still think about that poor thing now. Ive no time for people who think thats ok cos its "just an animal"

Its 3 and a bit hrs ago since I posted the above, and I still keep thinking 'how on earth can people do that' just doesn't seem human? When they are all in the cages and they just throw them from great heights... if their legs etc are hanging out they will just get smashed / crushed... then the dog half way through that’s tied up alive and the bloke just.... (And if you haven’t seen it, what your thinking is probably not as bad as what he actually does)
And yes the last is the worst.

There’s just no need for it. Now, IMO its wrong to eat dogs / cats... Others may say its wrong to eat Cows etc... But FFS, if your going to eat Dogs/Cats, come on, there is a better way  Poor little things.

agree whole heartedly Ian. As a pet owner myself-snake/lizard/cats/dog/birds-I hate to see any cruelty toany animals, to my mind there is simply no need for it, its just sick and I fully endorse anything-inc this "wrap up warm for winter" youtube campaign -that might prevent it however sickening the images-after all its only showing the truth about what is happening. A shocking but eyeopening link.

Likewise, Im a big animal lover. We currently have a dog  (had her about 6 years) and she was a rescue dog from the blue cross. I know when we first got her that she used to walk off if we picked a newspaper up (shes fine now though). I just dont know how people can be like this.

The video is horrid, but I think its good that people get to see the 'real world' however shocking it may be.
Lets just hope one day they throw one of them cages down and it smashes to bits... the dogs run out and attack all of them.

Guys, sad as it is, lets look a little closer to home; anyone like Rabbit pie? speak with the RSPCA we equally cruel in this country....
Meat to eat properly killed I can live with, cruelty just makes me sick, I live quite near to a national story a couple of years ago with a yard full of animals left to starve to death with ample food in sight of the animals, horses and dogs, how do you think they felt, slower death than being skinned alive I am in no way saying what is on the vid is not sick, just looking closer to home first.....

Dont doubt that for a minute Vamps, we're both aware Im sure of the cruelty towards animals in this country whether it be people like the tw*t kicking the dog in the vid at the start of this thread or the treatment of battery poultry.Like I said earlier, we tend to get more outraged about treatment to cats and dogs because in this country they are seen as pets. This isnt the case in other cultures. The point is it is all about cruelty to any animal be it cats and dogs or cattle and pigs or horses and donkeys, whether they are animals bred for slaughter or for pets or wild animals deemed as pest or otherwise. If an animal suffers through cruelty I cant see how you can justify it. Just that some of the images on this campaign were particularly harrowing.

I know what you are saying, but even so... the animals in the field was a one off? (I hope – not that it makes it any better) However, This in China is a regular occurrence.
