Absolutely! My wife's birthday is in December and she is adamant that she does not get 'combined' presents! It's a present for her birthday, and another present for Christmas.

As she says, other people get 2 lots of presents a year for birthday and Christmas so why shouldn't she?

A vital bit of information is missing however.... the baby's name ???

Congratulations to you both.  :y
