Mt Kilimanjaro
« on: 30 December 2010, 21:47:05 »

After the wonder of doing John O'Groats to Lands End last year for charity with a groupf of friends on Civinfo.com, next year i'm going with a group of 12 from work to hike up Kilimanjaro for Bolton Lads & Girls Club. Already started the training, just in the process of sorting out all the kit we'll need and all the jabs as well

We're going up the Rongai Route and we fly on 5th March, gonna be a once in a lifetime experience and hopefully raise a lot for charity as well. I know i've not been on here long but if any of you guys would like to pledge/sponsor us, please do at the Just Giving page: -

Cheers mike, thanks for the offer. Mainly looking for at clothing at the moment. I've got boots, poles, head torch, hiking pants, thermal long johns. Trying to find a decent 45 litre rucksack with hydration pack, active wear t-shirts
