Love it, but £15or £50k, I have neither spare sadly... :(

Unregistered!! would there not be a problem there, if registering new and now as it would not meet today's safety standard's, but as was built in 1970 would it need to?
Not sure that there'd actually be a problem registering it.
It might be allocated a 'Q plate' initially, though the purchaser could possibly substitute this with an age-related cherished plate subsequently.

To actually 'work' the coach, it's the contract specification that'll state the vehicular requirements.
For instance, many local authorities will specify seat belts, low floors etc.
For 'heritage work', weddings etc; there should be little problem, though that sector is pretty limited work-wise.

An enthusiast though should have no problem, beyond initial registration and certification.

Just had a Happy New Year message from a member here so thought I would pop in.
Very busy these days thank god.
I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.
I will pop in now and again just to say I am still alive.
Very nice coach by the way, sadly, Seth thinks not.

What with my love of classic cars it'll come as no surprise to most of you that i adore this, what a find. If i had the money i would buy it to show. It would make a brilliant motorhome conversion but given the originality i could'nt change it in any way. Sweet!!!! 8-)

That was my thinking when I restored my former AEC Reliance bus some years back Guy.

It was simply too good to spoil. :y
