I work with a fella who's only moderately active, eats for four, yet is like a bean pole.

I may secretly hate him..  ;D

I have to say that SWMBO hates the fact I can eat more or less what I want & am only (almost  ::)) 14st (but should be nearer 13) whereas she only needs to look at a pie & gains weight!

;D Even before I had the big 'C' I was slim, have worked in a mainly female environment, still do, and have often enjoyed the fact that I could eat a big cream cake when they are all on diets... ;D ;D ;D

I was always able to eat anything and never went above 11 stone. Since I changed jobs from being extremely physically active to being almost totally inactive I went from just under 11 stone to 12 1/2 stone in a year. And its all on my belly.

break. I'm in 50-something  :o Shoot me now!

Also.. it's your fault I just turned Sky on to record that programme, and found a show on BBC HD with Dr. Alice Roberts in it. Oh. God. She owns my heart, I swear. And it's a programme about swimming. So she's wearing a wetsuit and/or bikini. Beautiful and intelligent.

I'll be drooling quietly in the corner for a while!
[edit] She's the one in the middle of that picture, before some smart-alec comes along :P

I'm not bothered about the intelligent bit, as long as they do what they're told, like 'iron my shirt' and 'make my tea' then that's ok!

;D ;D ;D Oh no.. I'd like the whole package thanks - beautiful, intelligent, can keep me in the manner to which I'm accustomed... :D

And she just got out of a freezing cold outdoor swimming pool.. you could hang your coat on those.

I think I've died and gone to heaven, here!

That's it!

BBC HD, it's called Wild Swimming.

She keeps jumping into cold water and 'gasping' .. she sounds more like she should be doing something else.  ;D Lordy.

[edit] Ah damn.. Alice: "And partly because I'm four months pregnant" - well there goes all my hopes and dreams!
