Were you on Bridgewood Roundabout @ 15:30ish today
« on: 06 January 2011, 17:55:46 »

Bridgewood is a roundabout in chatham and an omega drive was racing another car around it,and due to his enthusiastic driving and the want to be first he spun his 2.5 estate on the roundabout ...now i think the omega is very sure footed in the rain but NO car will defy the laws of physics,and a public road is not a place to race seeing as it would seem driving fowards is a problem for some...gave me a laugh  :y

Try driving a V6! I don't think it's sure footed in the rain. I think that is one of the downsides, i don't mind though.

It seems to hold the road very well in the dry, but in the wet, or even on greasy roads it becomes very easy to spin the wheels. The back going out isn't that bad, it's just horrible when the front ends goes though!

I've lost the back end of mine at very low speeds, with good tyres too. Just a blip on the throttle and it's funfair time.

Was'nt me. I'd have flicked a tad of opposite lock first to flip the back out deliberately..TC off. That said of course i would'nt really as i'd get my arse chewed off by the safety brigade & TBH Migs are a tad heavy for drifting. You can do it but once they go they tend to keep going......
    .......so i'm told!!!!! ::)
