Kinect appeals to me, as I can see friends/family having a go for half an hour after a visit to The Red Lion. But then, we have the Wii, which serves the same purpose.
I'd say stick with it as the only decent Kinnect game appears to be a dancing game.
Do you like dancing Jaime?
The best Wii game I have seen is Super Mario Galaxy and I think the first is better than the second. Mario Cart not really much better than the SNES apart from online and more tracks. A lot of Wii games are to be honest disappointing.
I think that shows our different attitudes to gaming - I love playing socially, and the likes of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort are exceptionally good at *anyone* being able to pick up the controller, play (as a group) for 20mins, then go out down the pub.
Like the other consoles, there are some games I'd class as dross, but others may like them.
Mario Kart is similar to previous Nintendo console versions, but enhanced with each iteration. Its certainly not a simulation, but is a good fun game - again, easy for anyone to pick up and play. In fact, our very own Official Pikey, Auto Addict, is joining in on Wednesday's little session.
New Super Mario Bros is very good, but I still think platform games peaked with Super Mario World on the SNES...
