I have been a member of this forum for some time now i have had a lot of my questions answered here by very helpful people here, nearly every post entered by myself and others gets a good response and this is done very soon after the post has been made. What really pigs me off is that when i go on other forums the response is very slow replies and the answer to the problem is never there. So guys my little rant over let’s keep setting a president keep up the good work

Hi guys i currently have the 2.0 BLB engine in my car and its knackered (dead) im loking to replace it with another engine that is not the BLB which engine code can i look for i dont see the piont in buying a 2hd hand engine thats likely to go again i have been told that BRE should fit but not sure The other option i have is to convert the car to be a 1.9 what would be involved in doing this

ther must be a solution to my problems so can you help in any way

I belong to two other car forums both related to old Fords. One i hardly ever go on but visit folks homes & see them at monthly meets, the other i have contact with on the forum but have never met any of them, although i may well do this year.
  I've always marvelled at how this forum has grown from it's infancy & still continues to do so. Initially it's all about Omegas. Yes we all love them but when i bought my first one & found this place at least 4 years ago? Who would've thought a bid daft Vx/Opel would be so popular?

   I remember late at night in a field at one of the meets an admin, think it was TB saying "We never thought it would get so big". Don'rt think any of us did early on!

Quick response here at OOF.........because most of us have no meaningful life to speak of .............The majority of us are middle aged....yet still live at home with mum and have never had a girlfriend.(because mum won't let us).....

funny, only a few days ago I was thinking who started oof and what were their original intentions?  Did they ever think it would get to this stage.

I'm not experienced with other forums, and if I am no longer an owner of a meg I would still say excellent work to all moderators and this is I'm sure an invaluable sight for tech q's and place for frjiendly banter.

OOFSPEAK is for late on in a field somewhere...anywhere, hardly matters by then. We usually can't remember it which is why it's new & fun every time we do it.
    Does'nt translate well on screen though, must be all the food we eat?
