Omegas on my estate
« on: 18 May 2007, 10:22:11 »

I was helping Mrs TheBoy deliver some leaflets for her club (some girly needlecraft thing) the other day around this end of the estate. So printed off about 250 leaflets for her. And about 20 for OOF to put through doors of Omega owners ;)

Well, run out of her leaflets after 1.5hrs, didn't get rid of a single OOF one. Only 2 Omegas in the newest part of Brackley it would seem, and they are both on my drive.

Nice Monaro VXR in red around the corner though....

There's 3 on my estate, I know the one guy (member of the golf club), he's not interested as he say's he's got a man that looks after it, No. 2 & 3 are not on the internet.

Seen a few in the local area, some have approached me to enquire about the sticker i have in the rear window. A few of the drivers said they were very interested but were not on the tinternet. ::)

Perhaps if a poster of sorts was 'posted' so could be printed. And with a little bit of enterprise like TB did push through letter boxes of owners or put underneath wipers of Omegas we can get a lot more interested people on here.

What do other peeps think? :)

Sounds good to me - there are a couple of Omegas on the estate where I work. A ad to slip under the wiper blade would be ideal.

We have to be careful putting leaflets under windscreen wipers - printed on inkjets, the ink will run if it gets wet.

Maybe we should have a competition to see who can design the best leaflet?  £10,000 to the winner. ;D

How about simply leaving a card:

'Have you tried www.omegaowners.com?'

This will get them curious I think.... I would be....
