LPG 64.9p, now thats more like it.
« on: 20 January 2011, 13:45:27 »

Took the 2.0 LPG Mig project over to Bristol and back Yesterday, filled up in London Colney on the way at Sainsbury's at an amazing 64.9p a litre, cheapest Ive seen LPG for a long time, Bristol then back so did a Brim to Brim on the way back, 260 miles, £23.70 at around 77mph.

Did some other quick calculations, sorry, no radio in car, got bored, using current Petrol and Diesel cost on £23.70 that equates to 62.5 mpg Petrol cost and 64.5 mpg on Diesel.

Not bad for a 2.0 desmond and still cheap motoring on LPG.

Good news, is that a one off price or is LPG getting cheaper?

How do you do that without the "this topics been moved tot that section" thing ?  I'm sure that's how i ended up posting a mobile phone thread in the meets section.  ::)

I suppose its theoretically possible that it is due to an honest garage owner who is still selling his stock from before the price went up.
I dont believe I just typed that, I must be more tired than I thought. :D
It would be nice if it was the start of a downward trend. Not holding my breathe though.
