If you go here ..

http://www.google.com/crisisresponse/queensland_floods.html

scroll down to the map, then "pull" the map to the Melbourne area .. down the bottom, every little pink circle is a road closed due to flooding !!! The larger circles are reports from official measuring sites on rivers, lakes etc etc.

If you got to the eastern coast around Rockhampton/Brisbane (which you can't see due to the large number of circles) every little "yellow" circle is an aerial photograph of the area.

Don't complain about a little bit of rain in the UK !!!!  :(

no such thing as an "act of god" - insurance companies would have to pay out on the cars and buildings damaged by the severe flooding - anyone fobbed off by being told its an "act of god" should take the insurance company to court  :y

think about it if there was a god then you could argue that everything, by default was an act of god and as there isnt a god then its meaningless  :o

it is used however, to determine liability not whether or not a claim is valid  ;)
