modern day communication has its benefits. speed being one of them.

a growing trend of rebellion seems to be spreading. momentum of action seems to gather speed all too quickly.

egypt have kicked off after seeing what has occured in tunisia.

Egypt is a great example of how a dictatorship would control the people by either cutting all mobile and internet links, as they have done, or taking them over 100%.  However, I don't know if the latter is possible!  Perhaps someone with far greater knowledge about IT could enlighten me?

Whatever the answer you can see with Egypt what modern State censorship is like!! :o

Internet links are easy enough to stop at a country level for the vast majority of people (China being a well known example of content filtering). As are phone/mobile links.
