I just want to post a quick thankyou to JamesV6CDX. Called at mine yesterday to carry out a few bits n bobs- Cam cover gaskets, new plugs, adjust timing.new water pump, new HBV, new aux belt ,coolant flush and oil change. What a nice fella he is and i would certainly recommend him to anybody who requires anything carrying out on their Omega.

PS James i hope you got home sober and not too late, Thanks once again.

Er.... Well we had 2 pints in the pub, and then on the train I drank 5 cans of fosters, so I was pretty leathered by the time I got back! ;D

Left Manchester on time at 20:30, and got back at just after midnight, so only a 3.5hr run.

As mentioned at the time - change that Aux belt tensioner pulley, it's cream crackered ;)

Also, frequent oil changes until it stays clearer!

The cam timing on this one was a few degrees out - the engine was a lot more responsive once corrected.
