strange omega ''feeling'' today......
« on: 01 February 2011, 22:27:22 »

.....i went to homebase this lunch time.

had a ''mini vat'' and it cost ten quid.

drove back to work as normal.... when coming home at 5 i realised (after the clean) i was cocooned in a lovely warm, relaxing (despite the traffic), quiet place. For the first time ever i turned the cd off, and just sat there ''floating'' home.....it was beautiful

anyone everdo this or am i just a closet hippie???  ;D ;D ;D

Yes but I am generally in a boat 'ghosting' up a creek with the tide.  Traffic does little to make me feel relaxed

I did sit in the car yesterday and thought how nice it was.  But it doesn't get driven these days unless it's absolutely vital.

Can be dangerous though :y

I was poodling down the M40 coming back from Brackley on monday, easy listening classical music on, light traffic, heated comfortable seats on, heater purring away.....easy to descend into a feeling of doziness, and I admit I did....luckily got to M40 exit in time so had to concentrate a bit more.  :P :P :P

When I go to my wifes town it is usually horrid, but if I choose to go on Sunday I've got some 70 miles of country road (curvy but with relatively new and good asphalt) and virtually no traffic.
Probably the best vacation time during that Sunday is the trip. Little music, nice seats and cruising witha little curves for fun every now and then  :D
