OOFMEET Dilemma.
« on: 07 February 2011, 00:05:40 »

Yes i know this is'nt in the meetings section but bear with me please.
   This years Lakesmeet/5th birthday falls within a week of a favourite classic car meet so time off work for both will have to be booked soon if i want to attend both...which i do.

   I could however not attend one of the above & go to Newent which i've never done but would love to.

 Can't make my mind up! :(

I'm equally if not more so involved in the classic car scene Chris so it's not easy.
  Sometimes i wish a car was just a car & not a hobby.

  I'd sell the lot & buy a diesel Lupo, 75mpg @ 70mph...according to Clarkson! ::)

Do you have to work every weekend, surly 3 weekends a year off is not too much to ask, even from the hardest taskmaster...... :)

Only you can decide Guy ;)

I've not been to the Lakes, but intend to this year and probably stay for longer as our main holiday... Few days before and a couple after looks likely.

Newent is a fantastic site and meet... We'll be going to that too and staying a little longer but not much... Perhaps a day before and a day after :-/

Whatever happens though, surely you've got to come to one of them!

Same dilemma here too Guy .........  :(

Definately unable to make the Lakes meet, as Welland Steam Rally is a few weeks after this.
And the Great Dorset Steam Fair clashes with Newent.

Decision made: It'll be Welland and Newent for us mate - job done and no turning back :y
