Oh. Forgot to add that Chris Ashton is a convert from Rugby League and old boy of Wigan Warriors  (as was Jason Robinson - remember him?).

I have seen Ashton score many a try at the JJB stadium. You have not seen the best of him yet.Just wait!

...and you won't if he carries on ignoring Jonno regarding his try scoring antics.

Despite his manager suggesting it's time to cut out the celebrations, Ashton remains nonplussed by the suggestion, managing two trademark swallow dives in two of his four tries.

"Yes, Johnno has asked me to cut it out, but I really don't think about it. It kind of just happens. He has told me however, that I need to consider this may be my last press conference!" he explained.

"Yes, Ashy and I had words in the week," confirmed a grinning Johnson.

"After the second dive, although we had no subs left, I still nearly put his number up and pulled him off anyway! He's certainly going to have a very interesting and premature end to his international career if he continues to push his luck!"

Jonno is quite right, until the ball is safely grounded, there is no try.   Score the try...then party ! :y
Jonno will never drop someone who's scoring so many tries, he could probably do whatever he wanted when crossing the line as long as it keeps happening  :)

Seeing as Jonno is on record as having told him to 'cut it out', as a professional coach, he will not tolerate his instructions being so blatantly ignored.

And cut to a shot of Jonno laughing as he does it again

There are only so many 'Ashton does it again' type headlines Jonno will put up with.
It's an unnecessary risk (as the 'fail' video demonstrates  ;D) and it's disrespectful of Ashton, seeing as Jonno has stated publicly that they have spoken about the 'pre-try' celebrations.

Yup a lot of good union players came from league, in fact many 'retire' in to the union scene  ::)

I used to play semi-pro league in france in the 3rd division and loved it.  I was the only brit in the division so I used to get a lot of attention but many of the frenchies were quite small  ;D ;D
