This is quite local to me, been a lot of publicity locally.
Its ludicrous that the thief gets let off and the boss is going to be the one with the criminal record. He cant fight it in court as it would cost him approx. £25,000 to do so.
If I were a rich man I would pay his costs and barrister bill, so he could see it through. >:( >:( >:(

Im sorry to go on like this but Essex police are tossers, this is a joke. How can anyone have any confidence in the people that are employed by the state to protect us?

In the interest of balance - I have had mixed experiences with Essex police, ranging from appaling to absolutely brilliant. :y

I lived in Chadwell Heath for years (Met Police) Very fair and not petty.

Then I moved to Chelmsford and met a few of Essex's Finest

Enough said on that one ;) ;) ::) ::) But I'm quite grateful to Kent police for similar reasons ;) ;)

I've had good and bad experiences with several police forces. Like any walk of life, there can be sensible and not so sensible experiences... Although a lot depends on how you react to situations too :y
