Why so expensive?

Thermostaic shower control valves!

Looking at over £100, after shopping around  :'(

How come they are so expensive?

I had an issue with one last year and it was same price to buy full shower kit as opposed to cartrdige only. Got it on ebay for £70 I think.

Depends what you want, you can get cheapo ones for 40-60 but, better quality ones are 100-300
