in my child years I spend too much time building small homes with lego.. but always couldnt finish my plans as I had not enough material >:(

The now closed down Kenny Roberts Moto Gp team used to use similar to reproduce parts for testing for physical fit before production. Info could be sent to the team on the other side of the planet where they had the bike. Try it for size then machine it in the desired material back at the factory, then send it out the ame day.

Wonder if this is similar technology?

Seen similar but involved a laser fired into a pool of resin of some sort.

probably similiar but more on the expensive side I think..

imo still not discovered yet.. but when its done, the first thing will be I'll print a new nose to myself ;D :P :y
