honestly, who cares..  a country who exports sheria and kills opponents even from the other countries , deserve to be kicked from the world imo..

I am surprised, I always thought the logo was rubbish and looked like a woman giving head.....but if it means Iran dont take part then its gone up in my estimation

Yeah I can't say Hackney Marshes and Dog Track ever held much appeal. Mind you I wonder what the area will look like in 10 years time. We'll all still be paying for it but how much of it will be used. There are probably much better things we could have invested our hard paid taxes in. Third World aid, MP's expenses, higher benefits to the unemployed(able). MInd you this could be the first Olympics where every minority nation can be repesented without even having to commute 'cos there already here!!!

It'll look lovely in a couple of years time when the pointless buildings have had their 2 weeks use and have been left derelict.

At least public transport has gained out of it and will continue to be a benefit long afterwards.  I doubt that would have happened without the Games!
