Tesco Technika TV's .....
« on: 02 March 2011, 14:51:01 »

Anyone got any experience/opinions on these (low priced) LCD jobbies? Am looking for a 2nd set and they seem to have one that fits the bill.

Thanks - Rob

Had a 19" jobbie a few years back and wasnt impressed either. not very user friendly. For another £30 -£50 can get a good brand name.

I must admit, £249 for a 32" with Freeview HD built in did seem too good to be true ........... Hey ho, a lesson learned

I will probably have one soon for her stitching room. Will be fine for her for background noise of Downtown Abbey and such shite.

Sure as hell wouldn't want one as a large screen TV to watch.

Not worth the stress of dealing with the useless rather idiots though. Likes of John Lewis and Costco are often cheaper and have decent warranties.

Got a 19" HD Tecnika in the bedroom and for what we paid it works a treat.

Interestingly, it runs the same menu system and appearance as our 32" Toshiba HD TV downstairs......

No problem at all with either, and lovely picture on em too

I've had a 19 inch Technika Freeview/DVD jobbie as a bedroom telly for 2 or 3 years. It's fine, cost just over £100 from Tesco. Why spend thousands on what is just a telly? ::)
