I.. just.. I'm lost for words. Grandparents at 29?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1361162/Becoming-grandmother-29-worst-nightmare-says-mum-discovering-14-year-old-daughter-pregnant.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

The link says it all really but as an excerpt:
Quote
A woman who is set to become Britain's youngest grandmother at 29 said it was 'her worst nightmare' when she discovered her 14-year-old daughter was pregnant.

I'm just.. lost for words.. and a quick google shows she isn't the youngest - back in 1999 a 26 year old's 12 year old daughter gave birth.

Children having children.. it just can't end well, can it, and apparently kids who have kids tend to have kids who have kids. Where are we going to end up?!

Bah.

With a lot of MILFs

Yeah it's shameful really, I couldn't imagine having kids during my early twenties never mind as a young teenager.

Problem is though that the benefit money received acts as an incentive for some teenagers.

one of the problems with this is that in years to come the young mothers who missed out on parts of growing up and going out with their friends try to claim back them lost years and go wild in later life only theyre not young anymore and theyre the slappers you see out on a night throwing themselves at young lads and making fools of them selves, next thing theyre taking lads home and this reflects on the kids who grow up thinking this is normal and start the whole chain of events again.i could be wrong but this is my opinnion and some of it is from experience

We overlook the natural order of things. Every other species breeds as soon as it is able, it is only the conventions of society & religions that seek to inhibit breeding. My own Great grandmother married at 15, was widowed at 17 with 2 young sons, being married at that age was not considered unusual in the mid 19th century & it is believed that Mary gave birth to Jesus at 14 or 15. Life expectancy was shorter so the need to breed to maintain the population was that more important

Not good. But there has always been are a large number of 16 and 17 year old boys having (illegal) sex with their 14 and 15 year old girlfriends. The consequences of which are inevitable......Truth be known we have all been guilty of this type of behaviour when we were young and testosterone charged. Some of us got away with it and some didn't.... :-/ :-/ ;)

Well Mr Steve......It all started behind the bike shed in 1973. Wendy Mathers (name changed) and her best friend  (let's call her Sue) introduced me to the carnal delights of a"knee-trembler".... ;)
