Loving some of your suggestions. I'm also a big fan of the Physical Grafitti album,(used to have it on vinyl). This is a bit of a laugh!

   I heard that they were jamming & the cleaning lady came in & played piano. Not sure if it's true but i'd like it to be!!!! 8-)

They should have stopped after zep4 imo.

yep - I have for many years considered them to be one of the most over rated,over hyped bands in history. ::)
They had in Peter Grant a very clever manager.He didnt let them do much press / media work etc. and started a cottage industry of myth and legend which built up around the band and imo, it was this which elevated them to hyperstardom,and imo it wasnt completely deserved tbh.
Personally I thought Deep Purple were a better band at the time, and I preferred Blackmores guitar work to Page,s.
I thought page was past his best by the mid 70,s.
Controversial I know, but just being honest. :y
