So, its passed fourteen Mot's, the interior build quality is good and , I'm surmising here, the bonnet hasn't flipped up and killed Mrs AA. Don't believe everything you read about certain cars.

INCLUDING ROVERS ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes but, the trip to the MOT station is the longest journey it gets  :y

.....plus if you check it well before hand.....

I have only ever had one MOT failure and that was because I forgot about it and didn't check the car before hand.

Well done AA  :y

Tho my Dad has a 12/13 yo (its on a M plate so must be about that old!) Cavalier 2.0 auto.....thats never failed an mot either and never gone wrong as far as i know.....just usual maintenance stuff...

He got offered £100 for it trade in price a while back for a brand new astra.....i told him if its only worth £100 you might as well carry on driving it untill summat major goes wrong then scrap it.....so he's still got it.

But then its probably done less miles than Mrs AA clit......last time i looked 65k miles  ;D

I had a 1995 2.0 Auto Omega Select from new, passed all her MOTs had her 7 years, eventually the auto gearbox died after 169,000 miles, we pulled the caravan for a lot of those miles, regular service, oil changes etc, she did me proud, once the gearbox went it was time for miggy number 2.

 :) :)
