How long does it usually take for passports to be returned does anyone know???

Booked our holiday in Ibiza for September and noticed the passports have run out :-?

When I last got mine done (couple of years ago) I submitted the details at the post office (you have to bung the a fiver/tenner or so for the service).  Then it only took a couple of weeks max to get it back.

I think you should be fine anyway, but then again its coming up to peak season ..

That's right, the Post Office have a form check and return service. Remember, if the worst comes to the worst you can always apply in person at the nearest passport office, but it won't come to that. You'll have a new passport in a couple of weeks. :y

Yep, use the post office check and return service, the one for our little girl took 1 week.....(arrived last week)

Depends on the backlog they have. My last one took 2 months. Dont have to renew till 2011 now though so no worries.

When exactly are you heading to Ibiza in sept? Cos im hoping to head out there for a few closing parties this year. I'll also be there for the opening parties in June (going for 2 weeks on the 9th :D)

Thanks for all your help guys, we will be diving in and out of the Morrisons Passport Camera Machine tomorrow ;D then take them like you suggest to the Post Office :y

Going 21st September, Mrs Loo-knee's birthday present ;D ;D this way the girls and me get a present too ;)

Well i think its a good birthday present, she says I am a Ba****d  :'( ;D

Least she ain't getting Sox and Pants ;D
