Bad dog!
« on: 09 March 2011, 23:16:46 »

I nipped out earlier this morning for about 15 mins & left the dog on her own. I got back & she greeted me at the door as she always does, but I sensed that not all was well.  ::) The greet was different. I followed her through to the dining room and living room.
You know the Tom & Jerry cartoon where they set the dog up with the ball of wool, well Molly had found the 3 balls  of wool that SWMBO had left on a kitchen worktop and had doen her best to recreate the scene!  ;D ;D ;D ;D She just stood in the kitchen in a very sub-missive stance ..... but with just the end of her tail wagging!
She knew she'd done bad!  ;D ;D ;D

I take it that the left chair is your Andy as you have 'Control'  :D :D :D  As for the dog, they know when they have done wrong, but I think you have got off quite lightly....no chewed books or shoes that we had when ours was young.... :y :y

Yes, that's my chair, but I'm only allowed the remote controls when she's out or in bed.
Molly is quite partial to a pair of shoes or slippers, she's had a couple of pairs of each.  :y

I sent her away & she went to the hall. I kept looking in on her and she looked very sorry for herself. I called her after a few minutes & she slinked up to me & immediately rolled onto her back.  ;) ;) ;) :y :y :y It was quite funny to see her doing her best to say sorry.  ;D ;D

Better than a self coloured carpet where every dirty mark shows up. Besides, she chose it so it must be OK.  ;) ;) ;)

;D True, I had grey carpet in my old flat - which just never looked clean.. (previous owner had it put in new before selling, they also had the walls painted a 'just-off-white-enough-it-looks-like-30-year-old-paint' colour)

I love having wooden floors in the new house, though (stripped boards upstairs, original wood block floor downstairs) - so much easier to clean.

Not that I ever do  :-[

......

I'm not a fan of wood floors/flooring. Too noisey & cold.
Each to their own!  ;) ;)  :y :y
