1.00 am and itv have switched to dangle berry qvc style sales crap till the early morning..

night all.
all thou all they sell is " contemporary". excellent.

might ring in the morning, may be..

Nite, won't be long. Grandsons (STEP) Christening tomorrow, so up and about early and 1 1/2 to 2 hours in Church as there are a few...... ::) ::) ::)  I will not be drinking as have the job of taking the recently widowed MIL home at some point... :)  Scored though cos got Master Vamps to go and pick her up early in the morning... :D :D :D

The answer is:  To make money out of advertising, basically.  That has been threatened, although there is a bit of a come-back - they're talking about paying a dividend after a long period of nowt.

When traditional advertising falls off, they have to re-name it as sponsorship or product-placement,  top it up with surcharged phone-in stuff like Dancing on Idols, "I'm a Blithering Idiot, Watch Me Not Get Out of Here", and yes, tele-shopping.

Not entertainment or informative I agree.

And remember that ITV4 provide good wall-to-wall coverage of the BTCC championship, including support races. :y :y

Very very poor coverage. Who is that tw@ that buys and sells cars at a loss....? Clueless on the entire subject. He must be very very cheap.  >:(

if itv went tomorrow, I wouldn't notice until the next champions league game, and even the I'll probably be at work.  ;D
